The Barnes & Mullins 'Rathbone' Electro Banjo is a handsome 5-string banjo named after Rathbone Place, the London home of Messrs Barnes and Mullins in the early 1900s.
Featuring a mahogany resonator and mahogany rim with a black Remo WeatherKing head and mahogany neck, this Rathbone banjo combines a stylish modern aesthetic with a traditional rich, warm sound and smooth response. The Rathbone is complete with chrome hardware and fittings, ovangkol fingerboard, and traditional planetary machine heads. This banjo is unique in that it is an electro model featuring a humbucker pickup, 1/4 jack input and volume control and is therefore a fantastic choice if you're someone who plays banjo in an amplified band setup.
