Yamaha Recording Custom 14" x 5.5" Brass Snare Drum

Since the late 1970s, Yamaha's Recording Custom snare drums have been at the heart of countless records. These snares are now better than ever thanks to a collaboration with session legend Steve Gadd (Paul Simon, Steely Dan). Each Recording Custom represents a different generation of some of the industry's most celebrated metal snares. Choose from brass's dark intensity, aluminum's dynamic woodiness, or steel's cutting crack (each sold separately). Shells are expertly formed to be only 1.2mm thick, with an external center bead — a first in Yamaha history — and finished in a sumptuous brushed finish, with updated lugs and an offset badge.
